A Fairtrade Message from Lothersdale Primary School
Once you’ve discovered the difference that Fairtrade makes to people and planet, how do you convince others to choose Fairtrade?
Class 3 at Lothersdale Primary School rose to the challenge and created this Fairtrade message, in the form of a song, to encourage others to look for the FAIRTRADE Mark when shopping. Watch their performance and have a go at the song using the lyrics below!
Song Lyrics
Fairtrade farmers, what do they grow?
Bananas, tea leaves and beans of cocoa.
When they sell their crops so nice,
We must give them a Fairtrade price
Fairtrade farmers, what do they grow?
Bananas, tea leaves and beans of cocoa.
How do you know if the food is Fairtrade?
Look for the logo on the food that they’ve made.
It’s blue and green and little bits of black
You’ll find it on the packaging – look on the back!
How do you know if the food is Fairtrade?
Look for the logo on the food that they’ve made.
