Guardians of the Rainforest (shorter version)

‘Guardians of the Rainforest’  is about the cocoa farmers who are working together to protect the Gola Rainforest in Sierra Leone, West Africa. The story is told by 14-year-old Beshey, whose family have been cocoa farmers for generations.

The film is 3 minutes 54 seconds and there is a longer version (12 minutes) here. We would recommend the longer version for a KS3 lesson about forest friendly farming and environmental protection.
