Forest Friendly Farming – A lesson plan

When farmers receive higher incomes through Fairtrade, they are better able to protect the environment around them. This lesson on forest-friendly farming teaches students about a sustainable farming technique used by the Ngoleagorbu Cocoa Farmers Union in Sierra Leone. This lesson includes a 12-minute film called Guardians of the Rainforest and a follow-up worksheet.
