Fairtrade Fortnight Schools Award 2018

We hope you had a fantastic Fairtrade Fortnight in your school! Now is the time to enter our Fairtrade Fortnight Schools Award! Once again, there is a cash prize for one primary school and one secondary school to spend on their future Fairtrade work. The competition is open to all primary and secondary schools and the winning primary school and winning secondary school each win £350. You don’t have to be a Fairtrade School to enter – we want to hear about events in any school.

You just need to write a short piece about what your school did, attaching any evidence like photos, samples of posters, leaflets or media coverage. Entries will be judged on the following criteria: Impact; Imagination; Educational content; Relevance to the theme. You can download the entry form here.

You can also enter by sending us a scanned copy of your completed entry form and evidence to schools@fairtrade.org.uk.

The deadline for entries is 18th May 2018.

This award was started by the Tring Justice and Peace Group in 2006 in memory of Margaret Demidecka to recognize the fantastic Fairtrade Fortnight activities that take place each year in schools.
